Federer will be seen playing at the professional level for the last time in next week’s Laver Cup in London. Federer is at number three in terms of winning the most Grand Slam titles in men’s singles. Rafael Nadal has won 22 Grand Slam titles.

Federer has thanked his fans and rival players in this journey. Federer said that at the age of 41 he thinks it is time to leave it.
Federer said, ‘I am 41 years old. I have played more than 1500 matches in 24 years. Tennis has treated me more generously than ever before and now I have to recognize when this is the end of my competitive career.
Federer further thanked his wife Mirka who stood by him every minute. Federer wrote, ‘She encouraged me a lot before the final, at that time she watched a lot of matches even though she was 8 months pregnant and she has been with me for more than 20 years.
Next week’s Laver Cup in London will be the last ATP event in which Roger Federer will take part. Federer thanked fans and contestants throughout his career journey and said that at the age of 41, he feels it is time to leave.
The Laver Cup will be held in London next week from 23 to 25 September. He said, I would never have dreamed that tennis has treated me more generously. And now I have to recognize when it is time for the end of my competitive career.
