Rapper PnB Rock, the Philadelphia rapper best known for his hit singles “Fleek” and “Selfish,,” was fatally shot during a robbery at the Roscoe’s House of Chicken & Waffles restaurant in South Los Angeles on Monday afternoon.
Police Capt. of Los Angeles Kelly Muniz said a shooting took place at 1:15 p.m. at the well known eatery on Main Street and Manchester Avenue. She would not recognize the victim.
PnB Rock, whose real name was Rakim Allen and he was 30 year old, had been at the restaurant with his girlfriend, PnB rock’s girlfriend posted a photo of her meal at Roscoe’s and tagged the restaurant minutes before the attack.
Kelly Muniz said a suspect brandished a firearm inside the restaurant and he demanded Jewelry from the victim. Rapper PnB Rock was targeted for his jewelry.
Muniz ,said that during the robbery the attacker shot the victim almost immediately.
He shot the victim and ran out of the side door towards a car and then fled through the parking lot.
Capt. Muniz said the Pnb Rock was taken to a hospital and declared dead at 1:59 p.m.
Los Angeles Police Department investigators are examining security video from inside the restaurant to identify the shooter. They are also checking nearby businesses to see if security systems have captured any images of the suspect moving on foot or in a vehicle.
Rock was from Philadelphia and born on 9 ,December 1991 in Philadelphia. He told Paper that he was inspired to make music at the age of 19 after listening to “Take Care” on Drake’s decade-defining album.
Rock’s ability to mix melodies with his rapping made him a natural fit for the next evolution of hip-hop. he gained national fame with her 2015 single “Flake,” turning the viral Vine video into an anthem for women making their appearances across the country. He collaborated with a bevy of artists including Ed Sheeran and Chance the Rapper on “Cross Me”.
One of the biggest moments for rock to came with Atlanta rapper YFN Lucy, when the two joined forces for the winning anthem “Everyday We Lit” in 2016. The song peaked at number 33 on the Billboard Hot 100, the highest charting song for any artist.
“The safety of our employees and guests is our top priority,” the restaurant posted on Facebook. “We have and will continue to keep our place of business as secure as possible.” LAPD spokesman, Officer Jeff Lee, said the suspect waved a gun and demanded items from the victim.

According to a report in The Sun, the PNB rapper was at the restaurant with his girlfriend Stephanie Sibounhuang when he was shot. Girlfriend Stephanie checked in and tagged the name of the restaurant by posting a picture with the rapper on her Instagram pol.
Rapper pnb shot by the shooter just 20 minutes after this social media post. Some have speculated that it was because of the post that the shooter might have come to know about the whereabouts of the rapper.

Police said the robbers pointed guns at 30-year-old rapper PNB Rock, saying whatever they have, give it to them. According to police sources, the eyes of the robbers were on Rock’s jewelry. Meanwhile, the robbers shot the victim and fled. Police said CCTV cameras installed inside the restaurant are being probed
